El cable lan de red Aixton Cat7 se ha diseñado como estándar para 10 Gigabit Ethernet sobre 100 m de cableado de cobre. Tiene un mayor ancho de banda de hasta 1000MHz y es compatible con versiones anteriores de Ethernet Cat5e, Cat6 y Cat6a tradicionales.
