    ADSS single sheath fiber optic cable adopts twisted loose tube structure. The optical fiber is inserted into the loose tube made of high modulus polyester material and the waterproof compound is filled into the tube. The loose tube (and fillers) are twisted around the non-metallic reinforcing member (FRP3) to form a compact cable core. The cable core is wrapped with waterproof tape and braided with Kevlar Aramid fiber with reinforcing effect. Finally, a PE jacket or AT jacket is extruded.

    Applications

    The design of ADSS cable fully considers the actual power line situation and is suitable for different levels of high-voltage transmission lines. PE cover can be used for 10kV and 35kV power lines; but for 110 kV and 220 kV power lines, the electric field intensity distribution should be calculated to determine the suspension point of the cable and adopt an AT outer sheath. At the same time, the well-designed Kevlar dosing and complete braiding process can meet various application requirements of different spans.
