CPR certification, do you know it?

CPR certification is the EU CE certification building materials directive, which proposes fire protection grade requirements for cables. The European Union issued Regulation 2016/364 in March 2016, which stipulates fire protection levels and corresponding test methods for various types of construction materials (including wires and cables). According to the European Commission Announcement 2015/C 378/03, EN 50575:2014 officially became the harmonized standard for fire protection requirements for wires and cables used in buildings in July 2016. The standard will be officially implemented at starting July 1, 2017.

CPR certification of cables must comply with EN 50575. EN 50575 divides the fire protection levels of wires and cables into seven levels: Aca, B1ca, B2ca, Cca, Dca, Eca and Fca according to the amount of heat released and the length of combustion damage. of wires and cables.

CPR certified cable products include the following:

1. Power cable: insulated wire or cable for power supply;

2. Control communication cables: used for wires, symmetrical cables and coaxial cables in communication, data transmission, radio, video communication, signal transmission and control equipment;

3. Fiber optic cable: Fiber optic used in communication equipment, data transmission, radio, video communication, signal transmission and control.
