With the UV protective cover, outdoor cable runs are protected from damage caused by exposure to sunlight. The cable is EIA568 color coded to be compatible with standard installations and features solid conductors for termination in standard IDC connectors.

    This Cat5e unshielded twisted pair (UTP) bulk ethernet cable is made of 24 AWG solid annealed bare copper, which provides more flexibility and higher electrical and thermal conductivity, as well as withstanding a large influx of electricity. HDPE insulation (high-density polyethylene) protects the cable from thermal exposure.
