This CAT7 cable is a high speed 10 Gigabit bulk cable consisting of a 4 pair/8 conductor configuration. These twisted pairs are individually shielded to repel electromagnetic interference (EMI) in electrically noisy environments. This CAT7 cable is designed with an overall tin-copper braid for additional protection against interference. Additionally, this cable has a tinned copper drain wire that grounds the electricity once terminated. This ground wire is required on all shielded cables to prevent signal loss, intercom, and other performance issues. Our CMR vertical rated cable is comprised of 23 AWG solid bare copper conductors that are protected by an indoor gray PVC jacket. This cable is only available in 1000' increments on a wooden spool.
Exceeds all TIA/EIA and ISO/IEC requirements for Category 7/Class F transmission performance;
Use with other BLACK BOX Category 7 components with TERA connectors for end-to-end channel performance;
Ideal for data centers, healthcare imaging and financial applications;
Use in applications from 10BASE-T / 100BASE-TX up to 1000BASE-T and 10GBASE-T;
Individually shielded pairs with aluminum and polyester foil ensure virtually zero external crosstalk;
A tinned copper braid generally protects against extraterrestrial crosstalk;
The jacket features sequential measurement markings so you always know how much cable you have left;
The 8.4 mm (0.33”) cable diameter provides 10 Gbps performance in a manageable cable size;
Validated for TEMPEST high security government applications.
