Product Introduction

Long Span ADSS provides reliable self-sustaining performance for up to 1500 meters. Each long-span ADSS cable is custom designed for optimal placement on utility towers and to operate under full weather load, ensuring lifetime safe and reliable performance. For installation on high voltage lines up to 275 KV, an optional track-resistant cover prevents dry band arc damage. Fiber counts are available up to 288 fibers

Characteristics

It is an alternative to OPGW and OPAC with lower installation cost.

It has a strong structure that allows lengths of up to 300 meters to be installed between support towers.

Light in weight and small in diameter to reduce the load on tower structures due to cable weight, wind and ice.

Effortlessly to maintain low optical loss throughout the life of the cable.

The cable is wrapped to prevent moisture from degrading the fibers.

The wrap also protects the polymer elements from the effects of solar ultraviolet light.

With single-mode fibers and wavelengths of 1310 or 1550 nanometers, it is possible to make circuits of up to 100 kilometers without repeaters. A single cable can carry up to 144 fibers. Generally, ADSS is used on 48 and 96 cores.
