Product Introduction

All self-supporting dielectric overhead cables are loose tube stranded. The 200um or 250um fiber is placed in a loose tube that is manufactured from high modulus plastics. The tubes are filled with a waterproof filling compound. The tubes (and fillers) are braided around an FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) as a non-metallic central strength element in a compact, circular cable core. After filling the cable core with the filling compound. It is covered with a thin inner PE (polyethylene) sheath. After applying a braided layer of aramid yarns on the inner sheath as a reinforcing element, the cable is completed with a PE or AT (anti-tracking) outer sheath.
