  • Product Introduction

Aixton's ADSS cable is smaller than competing self-supporting overhead cables; partly because the strength members are embedded within the round cable jacket design. In addition to being more aesthetically pleasing, it reduces the loading effect of wind and ice compared to other cable designs.

    Characteristics

    1. Small diameter: up to 12 fibers in 6mm outer diameter; 24 to 48 fibers in 7 mm outer diameter

    2. Ligero: approximately 22-35 kg / km (15-24 lbs / kft)

    3. Easy to handle: concentric round design

    4. Compatible with existing poles and hardware

    5. All Dielectric Self Supporting Construction (ADSS)

    6. Easy to peel: use strippers no. 10-1323 (6mm version) and 10-1325 (7mm version)

    7. Self-supporting spans up to 110 m (360 ft)

    8. UV stabilized exterior coating guaranteed for 25 years of outdoor use

    1. FTTX Trunk Network Overhead Fiber

    2. Metropolitan subscriber networks

    3. Rural broadband and SDU deployments
