    ADSS cable is a braided loose tube. The 250 μm fibers are placed in a loose tube made of high modulus plastics. The tubes are
    filled with a water resistant filling compound. The tubes (and fillers) are braided around an FRP (fiber reinforced plastic) like a
    non-metallic central strength member in a compact, circular cable core. After the cable core is filled with filling compound.
    It is covered with a thin PE (polyethylene) inner sheath. After applying a braided layer of aramid yarns on the inner sleeve as
    strength member, the cable is completed with a PE or AT (anti-tracking) outer sheath.
