OPGW fiber optic cable with high voltage above 110kv has a relatively long range (normally above 250M). It is easy to maintain, easy to solve the problem of wire crossing. Its mechanical characteristics can meet the requirements of large cable crossings.
Optical fiber composite ground wire (OPGW), as an advanced power system communication mode and with unique advantages, has been widely laid in the old and new lines of the power grid.
It has dual functions as ground cable and optical communication cable and eliminates the huge cost of repeat erection.
It is installed on the top of the overhead power line tower, no need to consider the best suspension point or electro
corrosion.
