Product Introduction Outdoor telephone cables from 11 to 101 pairs, 0.5mm diameter copper conductor and solid PE insulation. The pairs are twisted in units of 25 pairs and these are twisted to form the core which is protected with a moisture barrier sheath. Complies with RD 401/2003 on ICT cables. These cables are used as outdoor distribution cables and comply with RD401/2003 for ICT compliance. Features Conductor: Solid annealed bare copper to British Standard BS EN 60228. Insulation: Conductors are PE insulated to BS EN 50290-2-23. Twinning: Two insulated conductors are twisted together to form a pair. Lay-up: Required no. of pairs are placed with water-blocking gelatin to form a 5- or 10-pair cable or subunit core. Stranded: Not required. of the subunits are twisted together to form the core of the cable. The cable core is wrapped with polyester tape. Screen: Longitudinally aluminum/polymer coated moisture barrier tape/screen is provided.
